Award winning actress Natasha Richardson is currently in a Montreal hospital after she suffered serious injuries in a skiing accident in Canada.
The accident reportedly happened on Monday while the actress, Liam Neeson’s wife, was on holiday in the Quebec ski resort called Mount Tremblant. There aren’t too many details about the accidents available yet, but according to reliable sources, the 45-year-old actress suffered head injuries.
Her husband Liam Neeson left the film set in Toronto and flew to Montreal to be with his wife, according to a publicist for the film "Chloe" who spoke to the local media. The two tied the knot in 1994 after meeting during shooting the film Nell. The couple has two sons.
After the accident occurred on Monday, the actress was rushed to the hospital in the ski resort of Mont Tremblant. Doctors then sent her to Montreal.
U.K.-born Natasha Richardson, the daughter of British stage and screen actress Vanessa Redgrave, 72, has won a Tony award in 1998 for her role in the Broadway musical “Cabaret.”
Her situation might be very serious. According to Web site IrishCentral.com, the first to report the incident, a source inside the Montreal hospital said the actress has suffered a traumatic brain injury.
