Lenovo considered the upcoming CES event as the perfect moment to introduce its four new computers. The company announced that later this week, during the show, it will present its new offer which includes a thin 16 inch laptop named the Y650, a 15 inch notebook called the Y550 and another notebook called the Y440 measuring 14 inches.
All three models feature Intel Centrino 2 class CPUs and Nvidia graphics, and customers will be able to add a Blu-ray drive to their devices. Also, they will all share a similar design, personalized with a black, "interlocked hexagon pattern," on the lid and a copper accent band placed around the edge.
The company expects visitors to show significant interest in its new machine called the IdeaCenter A600 – an all-in-one computer, boasting a frameless 21.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and also a Blu-ray option. The product also features a remote control designed to act as a motion sensitive game controller.
The laptops are scheduled for release in March at a price starting at $1199. The A600 will begin shipping in April starting at a price of $999. The updated S10 netbook will be available for $349.
The Consumer Electronics Show, which will take place later this week in Las Vegas, is considered by many companies as a very good moment to introduce their latest projects and use the feedback to see what can be improved.
