Police agents in Oklahoma City arrested a man who allegedly intended to turn a tax protest into a blood bath. The man made his threats on the increasingly-popular micro-blogging site Twitter. Police arrested the man in suspicion of making interstate threats.
The man arrested is Daniel Knight Haiden, 52. His Twitter user name is CitizenQuasar and he used his account on the micro-blogging site to post threats to kill the people gathered at the Oklahoma City Capitol for a tax protest.
"START THE KILLING NOW! I am willing to be the FIRST DEATH!," read one of the messages.
"After I am killed on the Capitol Steps, like a REAL man, the rest of you will REMEMBER ME!!!" read another.
"I really don' give a (expletive) anymore. Send the cops around. I will cut their heads off the heads and throw the(m) on the State Capitol steps."
the last message posted by the man was:"Locked AND loaded for the Oklahoma State Capitol. Let's see what happens."
the police agents arrested Hayden, but it is not clear whether was has been charged or not, The Associated Press news Agency reported.
According to special agent Michael Puskas, agents also found a MySpace account with the name Citizen Quasar and also on on Blogger.com with the name Quasar.
It seems that this is the first criminal prosecution resulted from posts on Twitter.
