Resident Evil 5 Demo Coming to the PS3

Capcom has recently announced that the Resident Evil 5 demo would be released on the European PlayStation Network (PSN) two weeks from today, on February 2.

The demo, which is set to be launched on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 gaming console on January 26, features three levels of co-op play, single-player with AI support, two-player split-screen on a single PS3 and two-player across PSN.

The full version of the game is scheduled for roll out on March 13.

The demo to be hitting the PSN, unlike the one for the Xbox Live (XBL), which will only be available to Gold XBL members for the first week and beginning February 2, for the silver ones, is said to come free for all of the network’s members.

Speaking of demos, another one is on its way to gamers, since Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has revealed that a single-player demo for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin was set to be made available on January 22. The latter will hit the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation3 gaming machines, as well as PCs. The consoles can download the demo from XBL and PSN, respectively, while PC gamers can get their hands on the Windows version of it from the official website.

The game is scheduled to begin being shipped to retailers on February 18.
