Microsoft grabs attention on the first day of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona with a series of announcements including a rebrand for the next generation of devices using its Windows Mobile operating system. Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer unveils the plans as the telecom industry struggles to cope with the realities of the economic downturn.
