Cuba's doctors set the standard

In the 1960's Cuba experienced a severe economic crisis. Many people left to look for greener pastures abroad and the country lost almost half of its doctors in the process. Today Cuba has more doctors than some countries in the west and is even training physicians from Africa. A Reuters Africa Journal report
